visit to bath

so. now i have recoverd from spending a total of almost six hours on a dusty mini bus i have found the energy to update my blog.

the town of bath was such a contrast to birmingham. i want to live there!

the architecture was so old fashioned and untouched. so pretty!

so english gotta love em

the museum: started off with an oddly wecoming face.

some of the best pieces in the museum (in my opinion of course)
Karl Lagerfeld-Chanel

i love dresses like this im pretty dissapointed i didnt have enough time to read about them! but, it was all in aid of gathering research for the "little black dress-sixties" project.so i better include a couple of sixties pieces.
Mary Quant 1963

Ossie Clark 1969

i especially like the Ossie Clark outfit, i imagine it would flow really nicely when moving...a kind of hippie look. at a push you could even wear the top of the outfit as a dress today. i like !
